Japan Unplated Inbox

Japan Unplated Inbox is the newsroom's private, read-only mail tool. It helps authorized editors review publication mail forwarded to Gmail, sort incoming messages, summarize them, and prepare local reply drafts. Those drafts are not sent automatically.

What the tool can read

With the Google account owner's permission, it can read message headers, message text, Gmail thread identifiers, and attachment metadata.

What it cannot do

It cannot send or delete mail, mark a message as read, change labels, or download attachments. Raw messages remain in Gmail.
